AF Resia is a magnificent daughter of the acclaimed *FA El Shawan son AF Maden out of the straight Egyptian Iglesia, a daughter of the U.S Top Ten Egyptian import stallion Ibn Safinaz and out of the Egyptian Event Champion Jamill daughter Delta Venus, herself one of the pillars of the traditional Haras Fortaleza, founded by Dr. Aloysio Faria who also found the Brazilian Arabian Horse Association in 1964.

Sandra Platzeck, who acquired AF Resia at Haras Fortaleza’s dispersal sale was totally smitten by her and considers her among the very top of her broodmare band. Her plan with Resia’s addition is to add a new dimension to the farm’s breeding program by bringing her new blood and type to the table and also breeding her to the farm’s senior stallion Barolo Carol, among others.
